How to Unsubscribe from Virgin Media

For broadband, TV, and phone services:

Termination requests are made via phone call to customer service or by written notice. For the quickest resolution, in the contract cancellation request letter, ensure to indicate the full name, account number, phone number and address.

For mobile services:

Customers have a statutory right to terminate the contract without incurring penalty fees with no reason within the first 14 days. At this point, a full refund for the handset price is offered. Alternatively, one can exchange phones of similar value. To retain your number, Virgin Media will issue a PAC (Porting Authorisation Code). This can be acquired on the online account portal. The other option would be to text PAC, followed by your birth date to 65075. For instance, PAC 26/07/1976.

If number retention is not required, Virgin Media will provide a STAC (Service Termination Authorisation Code). This can be generated by signing in to the online account and make the termination requesting by selecting Switching. An alternate option would be to text STAC, followed by your birth date to 75075. For instance, STAC 26/07/1976.

The STAC or PAC, whichever takes precedence, is then handed to the new service provider. Once the switch takes place, the contract with Virgin Media is automatically terminated, and no further charges are incurred, depending on the existing plan.
