Founded in 1984, LA Fitness International is an American-owned gym chain with more than seven hundred clubs throughout Canada and the United States. Throughout the mid-1990s, the business grew by purchasing underperforming exercise clubs in South California. Additionally, building, opening, and running newly built facilities was their strategy. In 2010, LA Fitness acquired Pure Fitness Arizona’s ten locations around Phoenix.

Over the years, they acquired other competing fitness outfits close to their already existing outlets, shutting some down and remodelling others. In January 2021, they rebranded a couple of pre-existing locations as Esporta Fitness after launching it as their new brand. As of 18th March 2021, there were 622 LA Fitness locations around the United States.

How to Cancel USA LA Fitness

To request membership termination, one requires to write an email indicating their membership bar code. Another option is to log onto their website, go to My LA Fitness, select Account Information, then Cancellation Form. This needs to be printed, filled, scanned, and sent back. A phone call a few days later is necessary to confirm successful cancellation.

If the withdrawal is made at least five business days prior to the next billing date, one isn’t charged again. If there are fewer than five business days, one is billed again. If this happens, LA Fitness will refund that extra billing.

Documents Needed to Request a Cancellation and Contact Details

The Cancellation Form downloadable from their website is required. Ensure to indicate the membership number.
